Put on your Trainer hat because two Pokémon presentations have been spotted in the wild.
Like two lightning-fast Poké Ball tosses, The Pokémon Company has announced a 2019 Pokémon Press Conference, while Nintendo revealed a Pokémon Direct is also coming. Both presentations are expected to offer a wide range of Pokémon news sure to excite the inner Pokémon Trainer in all of us. Here’s the lowdown on when and how to watch these livestream shows:
- Pokémon 2019 Press Conference: Watch it live on May 28 at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT, on the company’s website and Twitch channel.
- Pokémon Direct: Watch it live on June 5 at 9:00 a.m. ET / 6:00 a.m. PT, on Nintendo’s website and YouTube channel.
The Pokémon Press Conference will cover “a number of topics of interest to Pokémon fans,” according to the official write-up. In the past, these press conferences have been used to reveal new games like Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, along with mobile games like Pokémon Go and Pokémon Quest.
The Pokémon Direct will run for roughly 15 minutes—about the same length as the recent Super Mario Maker 2 Direct—and will provide juicy new updates on Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, both expected to release on Nintendo Switch later this year.
